Nutshell Setup Guide

Connect Site2CRM to Nutshell for automatic lead capture.

What Syncs

Each new lead creates:

  • Person - name and email
  • Lead - linked to the person

Setup Steps

  1. Go to Integrations > Nutshell
  2. Enter your Nutshell login email (the exact email you sign in with)
  3. Enter your API key (see below)
  4. Click Save
  5. Done - you'll see "Connected" status

Finding Your API Key

  1. Log in to Nutshell
  2. Go to Settings > API Keys
  3. Click New API Key
  4. Give it a name like "Site2CRM"
  5. Under Permission, choose API access
  6. Copy the key and paste it in Site2CRM

Troubleshooting

"Invalid API key" error

  • Double-check you copied the full key
  • Make sure the key's permission is API access, not the HTML forms option

Connection test passes but leads don't appear

  • The email on the card must exactly match your Nutshell login email; re-save with the right email
  • Check that the API key hasn't been revoked
